Creating Intricate Brickwork Using Offsite Construction | Keystone Brick Slip Feature Lintels

Keystone Lintels designed and manufactured over forty extra heavy-duty brick slip feature arch lintels for first and second floor openings on a series of houses and apartments in Marlow.

We caught up with Matthew McGill, Site Manager of the Station Approach project for Bellwood Homes to find out how offsite construction supported skilled bricklayers onsite to achieve architectural design features with real significance such as window tax designs.

Matthew explains how the prefabricated Brick Slip Feature Lintels arrived to site with brick slips bonded to the lintel to allow for a fast and efficient installation as well as reducing brick wastage by around 5%.
