Only downside I see to this is forgetting pieces inside the bags and being unable to see through them! I guess it'll have to become habit to smooth them out and feel for pieces before binning them...

Shadow is actually really good. His head mold is slightly different than sonic, so that’s cool to get a brand new head. I also can’t wait for knuckles to release! Great video!

What’s crazy is I saw a set with all paper bags from mega before LEGO, I primarily buy LEGO I’m
Just sad no gun was included with the shadow set

I’m all for the switch, as it’s not affecting the quality and more of the experience and it is more cost effective so they might be able to go cheaper with some sets

The switch to paper bags seems uninformed and silly. Polypropylene, the plastic from which the plastic bags are made of, is both recyclable and degradable. The people arguing for paper bags seem to not realise that now many more trees will be cut down for the sake of including those ‘safe and progressive’ paper bags.

Well, at least they’re on the right track lol. That Shadow set is awesome though, I wasn’t expecting something like it to come for a while! I’m glad they seem to be more willing to stray from the ball gimmick and do more standard sets

Why don’t they just go to all paper all at once? Why different packaging for different countries over 5 years?

I mean it’s a paper bag. We’re not talking high tech.

Weird, I have this set and it had all plastic bags. In fact, I've been buying sets frequently the last few years and have yet to get any paper bags at all. Maybe it's a batch-to-batch thing and I keep getting the plastic bag batches? 🤔

When I bought my copy of this set on December, every bag was plastic, so I'm sure it's still taking time for paper bags.
