Achieving what other modern brands have only been able to imitate to date, the brand new Roland Sands Tracker Jacket is actually constructed of American-made Martexin waxed Shelter Tent cotton, the same material used by the US military ages ago. Not designed to be washed or dry cleaned, the RSD Tracker jacket comes with an extra container of Martexin wax to be applied over time, giving this jacket an extremely unique look and feel. I tried this jacket on in the Philly Revzilla store where the staff was very helpful. It fit and the waxed canvas looked awesome. I ordered it afterwards from Revzilla. Upon receiving the jacket I noticed the liner was sagging in the back of the jacket. I didn't have time to decide how best to fix it before the zipper broke. Revzilla customer service has been extremely helpful in solving this issue and I look forward to dealing with them in the future.

This jacket looks amazing; I really like the comment "there is no cleaning period". How does waxed cotton perform as a summer jacket? I want something a little lighter than my leather Astars this season, and I'm not a huge fan of mesh.

Great review, thanks for mentioning how tall/big the guy it gives the viewer an ideal size guide for ourselves. I don't ride my bike much but I'm looking for more of a causal jacket that can be used for everyday use particularly in 70 degree weather or so. Would you recommend this jacket for that type of usage?

Just wanted to say I pleased I am with this jacket from RSD and Revzilla. I'm 6'2", 175lbs ish and the medium fits me PERFECTLY, to the T. It fits exactly how I think a moto jacket should fit, nice and slim, form fitting. I love the look and how it feels when I wear it.
My only criticism is the cell phone pocket is too narrow, it barely fits my iphone, let alone some of the larger smart phones people carry these days. Screw it, riding is about getting away from it all anyways!

I'm pretty much the same size as the guy in the video, and that's a large, i liked a little loose, so I got an XL, still seems small on me. I was too excited to go riding in it, can't return it now.

It's no worries. The rest of the jacket was of such high quality that an upgraded zipper was worth the money. Maybe RSD will read this.... Thanks for the reply!

This jacket looks incredible but the only issue I fear of before ordering it is sliding protection, how good is the sliding protection of it compare to leather? will my skin shred to pieces the moment I slide with it or I shouldn't be afraid of it as with leather?

I wanted something retro that would look good on and off the bike. Looks great, great fabric, looks and feels durable. Perfect. Day 1, I unzipped and the zipper got stuck-eventually, the zipper teeth gave and broke off in 3 different places. I love the look and there are none like it on the market so didn't send it back. Tailor and put new more durable zipper of the same look. Beware of zipper issues. (with the new zipper) I would rate it a 4 our of 5. With original zipper - sorry, gets a zero.
