In this video, I'll show you how to find a clean, cheap and affordable holiday or long-term rentals in Ubon Thailand.

I’m going to show you 3 different apartments in Ubon City, including the price.

One of them will be the one I chose to live in the next 3 months.

Good informative video. Thanks for making it. $218.00 per month isn't bad at all. I liked that room also.

Another great video with real life content. Your stuff is always improving- it was always great!
Upon my move to Thailand, in two years, I know I won't driving a motorbike. I never drove a motorcycle and don't think learning in congested Thai traffic is especially smart for me. So, location is pretty much number one priority for and I'm willing to pay that premium figuring taking motosais and taxis pretty much offsets the cost.

SUPER VIDEO....I can only agree with the other watchers who have added positive comments. I am intent on moving to Thailand within the next year. Your videos are unbelievably informative and cover the little, but extremely, important things that many people overlook and should consider. I loved this video so much that I am tempted to get another YouTube account just so I can increase your subscriber total.

Thanks. Good video. Why did you go there as opposed to other cities in Issan? Take care.

I live in a small town about 20 miles south of Chiang Rai, and a room + toilet goes for about 1, 500 baht a month, which isn't too bad. It's about the same price I paid 40 years ago for a room over a tavern in Oregon, U.S.A., and had to listen to the country western song "Don't Lock Yourself in an Ivory Tower" 10, 000 times a night coming up through the floor on the juke box. A guy I know recently rented a house down the road from me for 2, 000 baht a month.

I picked #2. Were you in Ubon Ratchathani?

The first boring area and a lot of traffic.
The second nice, liked the balcony. Nice area and less sound poluted.
The last

Number two for me. A bike solves the distances.

Nice vid. Thanks. I wonder if nonstudents can eat at the university cafeteria, and if it's a way to get a good price on food

Do you know anything about renting more tradtiinal houses in more rural areas with real thai prices and culture as opposed to expensive malls and mock American establishments? I would honestly have a kringe moment if I saw a 711 or kfc if my whole puppse was to live in Isan

I'm curious to know what do you do to pass your time? After a while the restuarants/bars can get boring.

Good video. What do you do in Isaan when you are not working? It seems a quiet place.

Can you do a video on where to go in Ubon City and prices to buy or rent a motobike/scooter.

Just out of curiosity, can you read Thai? I'm fluent in speaking Thai but can't read Thai anymore and wondering if it's a problem. Thanks for putting out another informative vlog.

You can visually pass for a local.
Perhaps they still thought to charge you farang prices?
