I have been told that it is overwhelming to go into a French pharmacy in France.
I like products by Avène; Marcelle; Dr. Hauschka; Caudalie; and Cétaphil. In the past I have used products by Vichy; La Roche-Posay; Orlane; Aveeno; Neutrogena; Bioderma; Prevage; Nivea; and Clarins.

Most of these products have been around for decades. It's good to see that French brands have a stable history, and do not fall victim to consumer "trend" mentalities, like most american products. I also see a couple of products that will make it to my Christmas list (along with a fragrance from an established French perfumer) for my close friends and family members.
