I was trying to get the motor out by prying the drive OFF with pry bars, but I was bending the sheild apron.
This video showed me you have to HOLD THE MOTOR STILL and then unscrew the drive from up top!!

Thanks, never imagined it was so easy to remove the impeller driver. I didn't need one, just needed to take the blender apart of put some oil on the bearings, screaming like a charm now. Thanks for posting.

I dropped a spoon into while the blender was running. Just ordered a replacement from Amazon. Amazon had some prime shipping, eBay cheaper but longer shipping.

Thank you so much for the video. It worked for me with some extra work because my fan blade started to get stripped so I ended up taking the fan off putting the nut back on halfway to protect the threads and grabbing the motor with a niddle nose vice grips and a crescent wrench on the other. Thank you again.
