MPC 3 (pre beta) - Sample based beatmaking!

Time to put MPC 3 to work and make a beat on the MPC Key 37 on the upcoming firmware!

I've had access to this version long enough to get familiar with it and use it efficiently at this point.
A chopped up sample, some drums, a bass line, a rhodes piano, a recorded melody from the OP-1 and a bit of scratch became a pretty dope beat at the end!

I also did a bit of arranging on the new arranger mode. Added a few variations here and there and the result is nothing to be ashamed for!

The workflow is a bit different from what we got used to on MPC 2 but overall - I prefer this version myself!

Keep in mind that the public beta version isn't even released yet so... I guess few things might change?

That Philips tape from the 70th gives heavy flashbacks. BTW, is your nice clean basement studio, more and more transforming in a heap of cluttered hardware. Today I knitted my MPC2500 to my TG500 via Midi and the audio in. Cool.

I never use faders to reduce volumes of the samples for gain staging I go straight to the program edit and lower the volume in there..the faders are for fading in and out ..hence the name faders.
