In this video I will show you how I applied peel and stick wallpaper from Etsy on my textured walls. I know it is not recommended to apply peel and stick to textured walls however, I did it anyway and I love the results. We filmed this months ago and my wall still looks beautiful. I think a matte finish paper would look best on a textured wall. It’s recommended that you do a skim coat on your wall first to smooth it out but I don’t have that kind of time so whatever.

I just watched another video where the guy stated that you should have maybe a 1 inch overlay at the top that would help with any ceiling discrepancies. I can’t wait to start my project! But the crown molding is a great way to hide imperfections. It looks great!

Just a suggestion, regarding the problem you had at the top not being level.... It may have been better to establish a single vertical line as your guide rather than horizontal.
