NYC paramedic here (well, recently retired, actually): blocking traffic is not peaceful. Many was the time I was stuck in traffic and could not get where I needed to be.
That is violence done upon a completely innocent patient who has a covenant with our civilization that we will help those in need.

My husband was in law enforcement for 38 years. He had protests fling poop at him many, many times during his career. I find this very funny- now they know how it feels.
