Something i just realized - all the audio you record is available in the "Current Project" folder on the side menu. Makes it easy to record, retrieve, and playback samples. If you prefer recording all your chops in separate audio, consider using a Drum Rack instrument as opposed to Simpler as that will allow you to drag and drop audio into each individual pad. And make sure you have your latency really low.

Nice video but if I didn't know how to already do this I would be having one big question, probably the most important piece of knowledge left out of this video. How do you hook the turntable to the audio interface then into Ableton.

i LOVE your hair now! also - look how messy the desk looks in this video compared to 2018 - it's all about less is better now - one computer one input device. but i gotta tell you i'm loving NKS files on maschine and the 61 nks keyboard - thank you as usual for your great tuts.

I'm new to Ableton / Push and looking to purchase them so that I can use the sampler and chop like I do on my MPC2500. I've watched several of your videos, but I haven't seen how you get your turntable to plug into the Push2. I went to the local shop to ask them and they were completely clueless and sent me away with more questions than answers. I was hoping you could explain?

Are you plugging your turntable into a audio interface and than plugging the audio interface into Push 2?

The hardest part of this is how do you get it in time with your project? Simpler doesn't have a tempo to adjust? That's the bit I'm struggling with

Is there a Key Command or Automated workflow suggestion so that as soon as you are done recording your sample, it can be immediately added to a Simpler instrument? It could be so smooth to just have it appear in the Simpler automatically after recording.

This is great! However, how do I listen back to the sample so I know where I'd like to splice? Then what do I do from there? Where does it go? Do I then move it back to an audio clip? This is a great video but I feel like it didn't really have closure to the process. Thanks!

I just got ableton live 10 but after doing all that you teach here I can't create my own melody with the sample bcoz when I press midi keys only the sample music plays and even if I chop it, it is too short. Sound stops. Help?

Hi everyone,
i recently tried to sample vinyl from my audiotechnica at-lp60x turntable to ableton, but it didnt went good. I connected it to my Roland Rubix (audio interface) with an AUX (out) to AUX (in) with a plug adapter. When i started recording I only heard half of the elements on the song (like if they were stems but filtered). Is this like an stereo/phono problem?
If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Have a good day

Yes but how do save your samples to a folder from this point?
