I would argue the old system was better. Theres actually a chance you don't get a case drop on the new system. It's a cool concept but valve really messed up removing the guaranteed case.

i guess its better for the players that you can get the better floats and see the pattern before you select it, but ive heard your not guaranteed a case drop now though is only thing i dont care for but i could be wrong
