We bought in Priest River 5 years ago, land only and built our house there, been watching your videos and have takin your advice most of the time,
Our plan is to retire there and so far, it looks good,
Yes, everybody knows your business, and that has been good and bad, but all and all more good than bad.
My advice is vet any contractor you hire, some are crooks!

Love Sagle area, but I live alone and I’m retired, so I don’t care about schools, etc. Roads are moderately maintained with a lot of dirt roads.

I grew up on a farm in Maine so towns of any size are too crowded, though I am sure outside of town, there is land available.

Pinehurst is wonderful, just down the road from Silver mountain skiing and biking. Beautiful and will definitely grow in popularity

Some of those small towns remind of what Bellevue and Issaquah WA looked like when I was a kid. Mountains in the background and trees down to the lake before the rich folk houses cleared out many of the trees.

More good stuff! You mentioned that Wallace is the center of the universe but didn't show the manhole cover! My bride and I agree completely with your thoughts about that very cool town. I don't agree re: Hayden Lake being a small town. It may be incorporated but it's hardly a town compared to your other examples. Bayview was a good addition and should bump HL out. ;-)
