2021 Tesla Model S Long Range (Refreshed) Preview/Impressions

After months of painful delays, I finally took delivery of my 2021 Tesla Model S LR.

This video is not a detailed review, but a (longish) preview of the car and my impressions so far after a couple of days of owning the vehicle.

I agree with the turn signal implementation being bad, they should either make the touch sensitive buttons real buttons so you don't accidentally push them or add the stalks back

Nice car, congrats. We have the Model Y LR and are considering the upgrade to Model S LR but that's still a lot of money. I think we're going to wait on it awhile and test drive one when we can.

Thanks. I also ordered in January, my delivery date is supposedly in September (2021). This was helpful for what to expect when I get in and drive.

Haven't been to that part of Dallas since a Mavs game in the early '80s.

I found a 2021 model s long ranged used for 74k I do love the 400 miles because I might work bit further and can use that 400 miles so I don’t have to charge most the time.

I don’t like the yoke steering so going to stick with model y and 3 for now until tesla bring back the regular steering wheel.

How many months did it take from the order to the delivery? Did Tesla delayed the original delivery dates?

Maybe the touch sensitive turn arrow should have been raised arrow shape so driver can feel it.

I ordered my model s a few weeks ago, and expecting a February delivery. Have you purchased any accessories for it, or have they not come out with any accessories for the refresh yet? Also, you plan on wrapping the car with PPF?

Hi great video - I would like to hear more abort the fit and finish, Im expecting delivery here in Denmark Q1 2022 and with taxes it costs about 188.000 dollars ! So I will not accept any paint-issues or gabs or whatever... thx Peter

Thanks for the video! I also have a Model S long range refresh... The car for me is perfect, except I have one major issue that is a huge pet peeve of mine. My car rattles at the front door speaker grills. Was wondering if you notice the same in your model S when playing certain songs?

Sorry. But I hope you don’t mind me asking. What state was the delivery in? I’m really trying to take advantage of getting the 2 key fobs since it’s $175 each. And when I ask Tesla about it. They deny giving them. I’m due for delivery in NY so I hope to get lucky

Were the metal floor pedals an installed accessory on your LR S. Previously they came standard on only the performance versions.

Great Video and Vehicle Tour, these are very interesting, going to go see one .. I was in a parking lot here in San Diego a week ago and an owner had a big notice on all the windows that said "Dont Buy" and it said they cant get repairs for 18months, but again great vid 👍🙌👌
