The 1st time I saw Metallica live was on the Black Album tour, it was in DC in March of 92….the girl I went with had been into them for quite some time…she saw them with Cliff more than once …..regardless of my feelings of most of their 90’s output (Pantera owned the 90’s) they have become the elder statesmen of metal & have done it in a original, refreshing, non-corny way….they’re the big daddies no question 🖤🤤

Drummer Lars Ulrich told MTV News that the content of the video is different to what the song's lyrics were actually about. He explained: "It's a story about human beings who don't know each other, in a particularly tense situation. It could be a contemporary war setting, but it's really about forgiveness and redemption and understanding what goes on in people's minds. We really feel that this was such a beautiful and epic way to treat the song in something that was really radically different than the specificity of the lyrics."
Basically they didn't want to make a video about domestic violence, to me, the war setting is like hey we are humans programmed with violence, yet showing the honor of rising above pain, be love and forgiveness.❤️
