Hello my name is Abby and I am a full time vintage shop owner & owner of two antique booths. I spend my days thrifting and sharing those thrift hauls on YouTube. I've been self employed for almost 3 years now selling my vintage and antique finds at my brick and mortar store, Abigail's Artful Abode, in Poulsbo, Washington, online on all the major platforms including Etsy, Ebay, Poshmark and Depop and now at my two antique booths. One at Epic Antiques and one at Lander Street Vintage, both large malls in Seattle.

I really am passionate about thrifting and reselling 2nd hand, vintage and antique decor items so they can live and be loved in new forever homes. Oh and vintage clothing is a newer adventure for me so look out for those videos as well!

Thank you for this video. I found this really helpful. I have low vision and need to make a change in my life. I have been fredecoating smalls, small furniture pieces and wood blanks and I also love the idea of redoing vintage pieces like old sewing machines typewriters and mannequins and I think they would make great quirky display or sale items in a booth. I am going to investigate this further but your video really has helped narrowing down a couple of ideas that. I have had swirling around for a good while;

Thanks for all of the great information. I'm currently in 2 booth stores, plus on eBay and Posh. I'd love to do flea markets too if I can find on nearby where vintage items sell. The one by me is more of $1-5 sales of garage sale, clothes and a new liquidation.

Really enjoyed this topic, thank you for the discussion. I have a booth but I started with really good sales on FBM, I just tired of the flakes on that platform. Never shipped and still dont, which is why online is out for me. The one thing about antique malls that people should know about is that some will require you to work one or two shifts. This could be a huge con when you already have a full time job. Also antique booths are already like part time jobs as you cant really just set up and walk away from it since they require attention with routine fluffing up and restocking. My biggest challenge is marketing it since the owner doesn’t do anything unfortunately to market the mall, and that also has me considering moving soon. I do love doing it though and would recommend people trying it, just do a little research on the location before jumping in.

Great video thanks for sharing! Wish I had the room for buying furniture as I seem to find allot for a great price but no room. Already renting one small storage unit and you probably know what our homes look like haha. I have a garage and shed full also. 2 years now just online. Did my first real storage lien auction today got two of them wish me luck. Your doing something right being able to hold up a store. Much respect and thanks again.
