As an ex homeschooler I can say, it isn’t for everyone. I’m super extroverted, I have ADHD, and I have been disorganized my whole life. Once I started going to school I have become WAY more organized, I get my work done, and I have a lot more friends. There are perks to being homeschooled but going to school is definitely the right choice for some people

I have also been homeschooled my entire life to and I think it is very important to do sports but make sure you enjoy doing it!! and it doesn't have to be entirely active like you could join a painting class or something but I think it can really help you make friends ❤❤

my best friend is homeschooled and she will go anywhere to be around ppl she's so social she'll compliment anyone and talk to anyone and if there's a social gathering she'll be there 😭

I’m homeschool and I’ve always been very social so I feel the “Are you socially awkward?” Question. Funny enough it’s my friends who go to school that are socially awkward.
However, now I’m a lot more introverted ever since my mental health deteriorated. I’m glad my friends are so understanding and sweet to me especially now that life is pretty hard for me. No matter what school you’re from, good people will always make your experience amazing.👍🏻

I’m homeschooled and I get out a lot. I’m in dance twice a week and my brothers have the Keon do twice a week. I’m out and about whether it’s running errands or just going for a walk. We only stay home sometimes 2 days out of the week. I have many friends and I love to be social. I just don’t understand why people think that all us homeschooled kids are socially awkward.

I’m homeschooled too! I just started my freshman year and it’s been going pretty good. I have a couple close friends but I want to make some more. Do you have any recommendations for ways to get to know other homeschoolers? I have a younger sister and brother so all the co-ops and stuff we go to are usually kids younger than me so it’s hard to find places where there are kids my age :/

I was homeschooled, and my cousin who goes to actual school is less social than me, and every friend she had as a kid was because of me and also, I have ADHD, and I was not gonna be able to sit at school for 6-8 hours a day five days a week I sit in school for like four hours at the most and I can take as many breaks as I need, and eat during class and talk during class, mostly to myself

Definitely prefer homeschooling. Was homeschooled until 8th grade. The first week in public school i was cornered in a hallway and threatened by the "popular" kids. Nothing like this happened when i was in homeschooling groups. Also, i could've graduated a year or two early if i stayed homeschooled, but due to some family stuff i had to go to public school. Wasnt a terrible school, but i prefered being homeschooled.
