Cleveland area weather forecast: Lake effect snow showers Sunday with brutal cold on the way

Your 7:30 a.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for January 19, 2025:

Weather Impact Alert days for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday as we'll have wind chills values drop into the -15 to -25 degree range. This will cause big time problems for pipes, waterlines, with extra care needed for pets and people--find a way to avoid this cold if you can next week.

The NWS has issued a Cold Weather Advisory from 1 a.m. Monday to 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The coldest air in years will be arriving by Monday morning. The coldest part of the day will be around daybreak. Temperatures will be around 0° with wind chills around -10° to -20°.

Hopefully, this brutal cold won't take its toll on our heating systems and cars. Hopefully, warmer weather will be on its way - soon!
