Repatriation Homecoming Ceremony | Mortal remains of freedom fighters arrive at Freedom Park

The mortal remains of 42 freedom fighters who perished in exile, particularly in Zimbabwe and Zambia, arrive at Freedom Park.

Today's ceremony forms part of Heritage Month and is being observed under the theme "Celebrating the Lives of Our Heroes and Heroines Who Laid Down Their Lives for Our Freedom".

Remains have been placed in coffins draped in South Africans flags.
