this mans analysis is actually godlike, what a legend

If this was translated into modern English, no one would have a hard time understanding it. It only seems hard to understand because of the semantic shift that has taken place over the years.

My teacher said
the word” haply “was the Volta since it changed the mood/tone whereas the word “yet” is followed by the thoughts that he has so no change in mood/tone such in sonnet 130 or 18 what do you think? Thanks again for the video @Thomas Lewandowski

I absolutely loved this sonnet 😢.. he is talking about a life lived without .. then overcoming and reaching for heaven to change his state with kings..🎉 It is so deep and so beautiful and so rich. He is referring to his lack of effort/perception/willingness when he says "and trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries" bootless gives me the impression that he wasn't willing to work for it "THEE"💖🥲 I just can't even begin to explain the amount of emotion this invoked when I first heard it recited.

I looked at the picture of your notes and didn’t have to watch your video. You wrote “be different” as your first note. How can what is written in a poem be different than what is written in a poem, is the only thought that comes to mind. Why are you on here? Be different suggests a philosophy to me, not Shakespeare. The sentiment of angst, is basically what it is. But angst is existential. People can’t be anything other than what they are, however, the sentiment of be different, is an inner angst some people feel, in a way they cannot express, which is why it is philosophy. Let’s look at an example. The butterflies, well they aren’t any different from the bumblebees. There is no calculus of difference. Which is my reflection on math. The only thing that can be really be said to be different, is what one hoped the poem to be, and what it turned out to be. But are you really saying Shakespeare wrote a bad poem? Also suggesting, Shakespeare knew this, and was upset to find he wasn’t really the great Bard future people would call him. Not a sentiment that appeals to me. Hence, I didn’t watch the video. Be different.
