Q2 Goals: Building an AI in Therapy Workshop | How Tech & Ethics Collide in Mental Health

This quarter, I’m creating a beginner-friendly workshop on AI in Therapy—a space for therapists and clinicians to explore what AI actually is, how we might already be using it without realizing, and why we need to start talking about it now to protect our clients.

This workshop is all about building understanding, sparking curiosity, and offering practical tools to begin thinking about AI through a trauma-informed, DEI-focused lens. It’s not about hype—it’s about having the right conversations before we fall behind.

We’ll explore:
• What AI is (and what it’s not)
• How you or your clients may already be using it
• Why this matters ethically in our field
• What kind of future we want to build in mental health care
