PLEASE READ: People asking for the pet store name, I will not be naming the store as it’s closed now, not even on google anymore, and it was a small local pet store. I don’t condone harassment in anyway even if they’re a bad pet store. If they were still open, this would have been reported to my local SPCA, but it’s closed so nothing can be done. I didn’t expect this to get so many views, so I want to add, please only rescue an animal if you have the experience and knowledge of the animal, remember buying animals from pet stores is supporting the pet store and encouraging them to sell more animals, there are exceptions to this (like for me, the pet store was closing down and I didn’t pay full price) I did mention this in the video but some people seemed to miss that part. if a pet store is selling a sick animal, please tell them and try get it for free or for cost (the price they paid for the animal) so they don’t make profit, and if possible always report animal mistreatment to your local animal control Center ❤

People don't even realize how rare axolotls really are. They only live in one place in the world, and their habitat is currently causing their populations to dwindle. I'm so thankful you brought her home and helped her.

I dont know a lot about axolotl's, but my pet store in town sells them, they're $26 and really healthy looking. They are all housed separately in the store with no gravel or sand, and each of them have a little cave in their tanks. The pet store is family owned and passed down from owner to owner, so they really care about all of their animals, every pet we've gotten from them have flourished, even the feeder gold fish that we bought. We got two of them five months ago, and they're gigantic now. Like we're scared to fish them out of their tank for cleaning because they're so big and fast 😅

Some pet stores don't care they only want money. I'm in the US so I'm thinking of big box pet stores. Or stores that sell puppy mill puppies.lLots of people claim animals are skinny because they are sick but surprise when they come into rescue they eat and gain weight just fine. Can you imagine the relief this poor baby felt when she was finally in clean water? She looked lot better just being put in that tub. I hope she pulls through. She'll be beautiful. 😊❤

I may not know a lot about axolotl but it's great to see people like you care about animals like these, I've seen many people mistreat axolotls and other small animals like this and it's horrible :(

I cant believe that animals get treated like this, it just disgusts me that people can do this without feeling guilty for what they have done. I'm glad that your saving and helping this axolotl, your my favorite animal YT because you do this and you don't just leave them there. I hope that she will recover fully and live a good life. ❤

edit - Also you probably keep her, I believe that you would be the best owner for her. She would be the happiest staying with you sense you know how to care for her properly.

You didn't think that she would eat that pellet but the way she snapped at your tongs I'm surprised she's not eating your fingers. Sad and tragic and completely preventable. A big thank you for saving her!
