If I was shopping ONLY by swatches (NO PACKAGING TO DISTRACT ME), and you showed me those on your arm....I'd TOTALLY choose the originals. It just goes to show how motivated we, the consumers, are by pretty packaging. Too Faced KNEW that and so they used pretty packaging to try and renew interest in an older product.
P.S. Although the outer packaging is undeniably beautiful, I actually hate a shiny gold inner palette. It not only detracts from the shadows, but it also just looks "cheap-y" to me. I'll keep my old "Natural Eyes" tin thank you, Too Faced 😘

I got the old Natural Matte at TJ Maxx for $15. Be on the lookout. I actually like the smaller tin packaging. I don't like the new gold interior. I just prefer a smaller palette. I'm going to use it for travel. As a cool tone lover I most certainly love the original! You are right Emily, the new one is so ordinary.

Also, I can't believe they got rid of Nudie in both palettes... That's such a great contouring color for the crease.

Awesome video, I have yet to see anyone else review these! I think everyone assumed they were exactly the same, just newer packaging! I always turn to you for accurate, honest & in depth info on products. I know researching all of these things take time quite a bit of effort, so please know it is noticed & appreciated! I would love to see the lipsticks if you feel they are worth swatching. It would also be interesting to hear what you learned and did at the ULTA conference (if you are allowed to talk about it)!! The Natural Eyes Palette is actually version #3---the original was in cardboard packaging. The tin packaging is version #2 and has different shades than the original #1.

I love the new packaging! I’ve never own any of those eyeshadow palettes before, so when I purchased the shimmer one, I absolutely fell in love with it. Perfect everyday eyeshadows, butter smooth and they easily blended out. Really glad I got it.

Emily, you should do a side by side, one eye with old pallette and one with the new one.i do love your ability to analyze the products, not just this particular one but all the products that you show us. You are so nice to watch. I just love you to pieces. You seem just as beautiful on the inside as on the outside and that is what I've always loved about you. I REALLY LOVE the new colors that are BETTER versions of the old TOO warm/orange/deep that are now SO much prettier!! They are MORE wearable and REALLY look more natural and like nude/neutral shades. I get SO tired of SO many brands ruining palettes with all the orange/"terracotta" or too deep murky colors that LOOK like TOO much and you can never get a NATURALLY PRETTY look with them. I for one am SO glad they improved those old (overused and obvious) colors. I have the old palettes and am SO happy they finally made something that is AS PROMISED, NEUTRAL/NATURAL colors. NOT everyone wants OBVIOUS, noticeable color but like instead to just look NATURALLY ENHANCED AND PRETTY. THANK you TOO FACED for the improvements!
