Be careful with the radar. Wrong mindset and not good for the shoulder. Listen to your body and as Nick says, develop solid technique, but don't get caught up in trying to hit huge serves, because often you will involve too much arm which not only disconnects your power source but will be a disaster to your rotator cuff. As always Nick, great video, love your channel.

A lot of rec players hit topspin backhand with continental grip. Appreciate if you could make a video on it and show us the negatives and positives. Many thanks for your work, coach.

Gadgets can be ok for a bit of a change up and excitement for the kids but throughout my coaching days in the early-mid 2000s I found most kids and the parents thought their time was wasted if they weren’t hitting balls. A lot of people these days though think these things like the topspin pro are essential for development without understanding that it doesn’t take a lot to give a kid the idea of hitting topspin and that we all and especially 3 players that’ll forever go down probably as the GOATS never needed any gadgets to learn these skills

If gadget can make someone becomes good at sport then there are only rich people kids can play sport. to become good at tennis, we need to enjoy, practice, and live life with it.

I literally broke the tennis hitting gadget in about two minutes, I went for a shot, and almost knocked the ball through my window at my home, I was hitting the ball in the drive way. Great review my friend.

Hi Nick, you've tested every gadget and racquet it seems, now how about an objective review of different brands of tennis balls. I am constantly amazed by how crappy most brands are and I've hit with everything I could try. Would love to see your perspective on this often overlooked part of the game.

Nice video, i will think about the topspin pro. What i really enjoy as a tennis tool is the swingvision app with you can use to record your games and to keep track of the score. It also calculates the speed of the ball without radar and it works really great

Personally I think the best tennis "gadget" is something that makes easier to record yourself with camera or phone.

Thanks again for all your great videos! My dad bought me the ball on a rubber string back thing when I was a kid in the early 1970s, made by a reputable tennis company at the time, Tretorn. I spent about 5 minutes with it and that was the end of it. I can't believe companies are still making this junk! RETURN IT!!!

Great video...I have the Topspin Pro which is fantastic, but have wondered about the others. I will get the Asstrainer through your affiliate link. Seriously though that wood spatula racket is a great idea for accuracy and building confidence.

At first I loved topspin pro. Later on as development went, it actually teaches you to brush the ball but not put any force on the ball. You need to hit low to high and forward. But this will limit your forward movement. So keep that in mind

Hello Nick, what ball machine is that? the one in the wrist trainer section?

Hey Coach Nick, I am a big fan. Two things have improved my tennis the most. Your instructional videos and the Ksports tennis rebounder net. It's great for topspin, full power strokes, forehand/backhand transition, finesse shots, ball tracking, and ingraining muscle memory. You should give it a try.

Long time ago I had my cousin measure my serve speed. She held a Mickey Mouse digital watch with stop watch, she would measure how long it took for ball to make contact in my racket and cross the net. Then do the math. Calculation showed my serve speed was 115 mph 🤣 and yes my math is correct

I've seen Pro Level players who trained with this device when they were juniors, it's unbelievable to see
