Looking at the reaction in these comments tells me not a lot of people have played a Bloober game before. It's like seeing your child gleefully playing in the waiting room at the doctor's office after being told they have a fatal and incurable disease. That bit at the end of the trailer when James is walking down the pier bit and says Mary give me goosebumps everytime I see that silent hill 2 title and that deep bass. I really hope they do a great job on this, looking very forward to seeing what they do!

I'm intrigued.. but admittedly extremely nervous and weary..
I don't they could ever capture the magic of SH2 again, everything from the cast, the time it was released, the graphics it all melted together perfectly. But with how hard it is to obtain and play nowadays I hope this can be a new avenue for potentially new fans and people who didn't get to experience the first game

I’m terrified, there were so many nuances that made the original incredible and they could easily destroy that as they did with the HD remaster. Also, why have they made James sound like a super hero...

I'm here just to thank you Konami for finally giving my favorite series another chance. I'm willingly buy this remake day one on PC and I will continously doing so as long as you keep this franchise alive and in the good hand.
