It's interesting many don't like the wifi control. I think it's one of the big benefits of this thing, because all you need to carry around is the drone. You don't need to carry a bulky transmitter. 500 feet is usually enough to do some type of drone work. and with the quality and electronic image stabilization, this thing is nothing more than a "fun" drone, so 500 feet should be enough.
