Why Clash Royale Will Never Nerf Miner

The Miner is one of the first legendarys in Clash Royale and is still is one of the most popular troops to this day. Although he hasn't had many balance changes, his influence has always been prominent in several different metas.

Correction: The rocket does 25% of its damage to crown towers, not 20%.

Goblin barrel: spawns 3 troops that can be placed anywhere in the arena => spell

Miner: spawns a troop that can be placed anywhere in the area and has reduced tower damage just like spells => troop

At first this confused me but from a technical standpoint this makes sense. The goblin barrel can be placed right on top of a tower. That’s the concept of the card. While the miner can only be placed at the side of one. If they would turn the barrel into a troop it couldn’t be placed directly on towers anymore.

Maybe the strange early buffs were just to make the card a little bit better as a temporary measure while people were still leveling it up. It was hella difficult back then and it took a long time.

Miner is designed so well, you can slap it in most decks, and won't be that crappy, unlike for example executioner who needs tornado to be good

I would like a video on the log. It's in the same position as the miner, where it's high usage rate doesn't bother the community, but much more amplified. As such its use rate has been near 50% in top ladder decks and often 100% in top 10 decks.. Yet nobody asked its nerf.

This is like a natural evolution to the Gratz video style; instead of focusing on the balance changes of the unit, Miner's unique history of balance carves a narrative of how he's changed the meta, instead of how the meta has changed him. Absolutely one of your best, Gratz

That final comment about reacting to miner palcements is intersting to me as a fighting game player, where to me having some forms of mind games and unseeable mixups that you have tot ry to read your opponents patterns and habits to guess where its going, is really cool and interesting, delaying miner spawn time would take away from that imo.
