I’m Dr. Sean Hashmi, board-certified kidney disease and obesity medicine specialist, father of two beautiful daughters, and one lucky man to have married my soulmate. :) I got into medicine because of losing my sister. My passion for nutrition and wellness started with wanting to help my wife's struggle with lupus and pulmonary hypertension. I have seen the power of lifestyle medicine in my own family’s life, and I want to share it with all of you.

Hi Dr. Sean, I just discovered your channel here and am following you from Frankfurt/Germany. I was diagnosed with CKD 3a in March this year and it shocked the hell out of me. Especially since my Primary Care doctor has seen my urin results come back with protein in it back in 2021!! I've watched a number of your plant-based kidney health vids and I am so taken with your gentle way, your niceness, your understanding and your explaining the situation without scaring the wits out of people! I will definetely share your channel here and the plant-based kidney health with my friends and folks. We are all a little over the age of 60 and the others don't get their bloodwork done like I do (twice a year)... Hi Dr.Hashmi I need urgent advice I have a calcified heart valve will k2 work for me? What should I do
. I've lost 3 brothers and my mother from heart issues and I am extremely worried. My husband is home on palliative care, I'm his carer, I'm 67 years old mother of 5 grandmother of 14. I don't think they could handle losing the both of us I watched the k2/k7 issue just now and l will be chasing the right K2, I need to take it as a vitamin as I'm on meals on wheels and believe they don't cover this area. Can you give me a brand name for this vitamin if you know of one Thanks ever so much Barb
