I no longer agree with most of your opinions since the topics youre describing are far more complex. Youre always argumenting how there is limitef speech freedom yet you have a platform where you can freely express all of your opinions, so theres that. Dont assume that everyone can express their opinion on everything (I mean they can, but you shouldnt listen to aunt Mary on her opinion on medical services since there are literal experts in the field, yet I agree that no degree makes person an expert, like I said, this problem is far more complex and not so black and white. As someone who is training to be a medical doctor in the United States, I am strongly in favor of patients being their best advocates and I plan to practice medicine in a way that makes that a priority. I will encourage my patients to do their own research and bring things to the table that I hadn't yet considered myself. I also have a chronic illness, and know what it feels like to be on the other side and feel like I know what's going on and wondering why my doctor is pushing me to the wayside. I respect your thoughts and what you have to say, but I would be amiss if I didn't share my perspective. With all of that being said, I think some of the rhetoric you are endorsing here is heavily informed by misinformation and can be potentially dangerous to yourself and others. Medical doctors and scientist spend decades training in their specific field and for the sum of their knowledge to be summed up as "their truth that they believe" is offensive, and it is simply not possible to gain that same level of knowledge and experience from "doing your research" online. You know that your God is real, so who are you to say that science isn't? God is the one who gave us the opportunity to learn this knowledge and to learn how the human body works, and the molecular and cellular level details that he himself put into place. He gave us these opportunities to care for each other. To touch on the evolution of science piece- evolution is the epitome of what medicine and science is. We are constantly learning, re-learning, and un-learning and that is the beauty of science. Medical knowledge doubles almost every 2 months, so of course things are going to change. Would you prefer it not to change? Would you prefer us to be stagnant? Are not all human beings ever evolving? And I will inform you that medical professionals and scientists are INTIMATELY aware of "following the money" as we know that healthcare is a business- to its ultimate detriment. I could say more, but I felt extremely compelled to share my thoughts. Regardless, I respect you as a person and as an individual and believe you have the right to feel the way you do, but in the same way you are pleading with "the left" that they could never understand you because they aren't you and they don't even try to understand- how could you understand me, a scientific and medical professional, if you don't even try? I am trying. Please, please think twice before informing others on topics that could be life or death when you, very simply, don't have the decades worth of training it requires.

Language can be dangerous because you have influence. If you have the ability to influence a large platform of people you should not be discussing topics that you clearly need more information on. As the first amendment states we are free to discuss personal opinions, beliefs, testimonies, etc without persecution but you shouldn’t be stating it as fact. That’s when it can be dangerous. Encourage people to consult a professional before looking into personal anecdotes on alternative medicine. Especially regarding a disease as serious and complex as cancer.

Also, medical doctors are trained in medical practice. They aren’t trained in scientific research. For that, look at the scientists in relevant fields. (I have a PhD in chemistry). You wouldn’t go to a podiatrist (a doctor) for advice on cardiology

Big businesses all started out as entrepreneurs and small businesses who found ways to do things better than their competitors. Why are you allowed to peddle supplements with no degree in medicine or nutrition (or of any kind actually) to make money but others can’t make money because they got too good at it? Influencers are no better so don’t kid yourself

I actually think the answer for most of these issues lies somewhere in the middle. The issue with the "left" or "right" is just that, they're so far left or right that you lose nuance. Life is frequently grey or as you pointed out, complex. I can get behind some of this thinking, but I see the benefits of a more balanced approach. Minus quality of food in the US, it's terrible😅
