bought this mouse pad and it has no friction at the bottom part at all, you're basically moving your mouse and your mousepad at the same time

I got the Firefly v2 few days ago and I'm disappointed that my current razer mouse doesn't work on hard mats, I'm hesitating on returning the Firefly and getting this instead, does this have like the wave mode like the Firefly?
