Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has done it again: Twenty years after first winning the Brazilian presidency, the leftist defeated incumbent Jair Bolsonaro in an extremely tight election that marks an about-face for the country after four years of far-right politics.

narcos and prison inmates are celebrating countrywide. there are photos and videos of the drug smuggling favelas lit up by parties. meanwhile Brazil had its worse unemployment numbers in decades under Lula while in an economic boom.


the future is grim for Brazil, i hope the people don't suffer much, but part of me hopes that they do and they realize that they voted for someone that will only work for narcos and criminals
