I’m only 14 but I have been through a lot as most people have. I have had my troubles and hardships and bad days. Through it all God never left me even when I thought he did. About 2 year ago I almost gave up. But thanks to the grace of god I didn’t. I just recently had some breakthrough and I am really starting to realize that I’m not alone and that I am loved. This song is so powerful and it really reminds me of the goodness of God and how powerful worship can be.

Sometimes we are very quick to forget the seasons and moments when God came through for us. Yes there maybe times it might seem like He came too late or He didn't even show up at all(I have witnessed a couple of those kinds of moments) but the truth still remains that His sovereign power will always never fail us. Decided to listen to the songs in the "Revival is in the Air" album and this was the second song.. Haven't made any progress since. Been praying and believing God for some things and I was feeling particularly discouraged but then when I heard the part that goes "Remember how our God has never failed, never failed us", all His mercy, goodness and grace that has sustained my life upto this point came flooding my mind. And the way JJ just points her finger as she sings it the first time makes it more of an admonishment which sinks deep. Then the confession, "From the cross to the grave, HE IS RISEN and HE REIGNS!!". Thank you Lord Jesus! Hallelujah!!!
Oh one more thing.. After singing that part "Praise the Lord I’ll sing His praise again.." one day whenever the Lord leads, you can then join with "Hallelujah praise the One Who set me free, Hallelujah death has lost its grip on me You have broken every chain There's salvation in Your Name Jesus Christ, My Living Hope!!"
