The sound of those waves at the beginning gives this surf dad goosebumps. So much raw, beautiful, natural power. I came to surfing too late in life that I'll ever be able to do anything like this, but total respect to the guys who can and do. Catching just a medium sized wave makes me feel so alive. Catching a monster must feel so exhilarating.

I had experienced half moon decades ago. I am not a surfer. I didn't know the history. I played in the waves in the dark of night. Then came a 20ft of wave. Wow! I played more. Lots of edrainal in the big waves at night. Great video great fun friend from Cocoa Beach Fl

Absolutely brilliant video man, hats off! Love the personal feel of the intro, the shots are epic, and the editing is solid, as usual. But particularly enjoyed some of the non-surfing shots you included here, especially the one with the two pelicans cruising through the frame as the wave breaks in the BG. Watched it twice already! Keep it up and hope to see you here in SC sometime this winter, cheers!
