Thanks for this video! I've been trying to find out if Procreate could do 300 dpi files, but all the forums I saw were like 4 years old & I guess they didn't have that option back then. The 300 dpi was the determining factor for me of whether it's worth the investment to buy an iPad. Thank you again for this information!

My client's canvas request is a0 because she's gonna print and frame it, , but the maximum dpi i could make is only 90 with 17 maximum layers, , i've done a research and it says that it is fine, , is it really fine?

Great information. I’m running into a problem. Using a paint program on iPad. I’m looking for the best to transfer to a company for printing on a real canvas. The program I’m using has canvass sizes from 3M - 22M, A4 300dpi and A3 300dpi, HDMI 1080, and 4K. Which is best if I’m not using layers? I want the best quality.

There is a custom size option as well. The options are Points, Pixels, cm, and inches. I’m finding a problem when I try to match the inch size to match the inch size on canvass sites to print. It seems to be off? Any suggestions to best find match from a digital to a real world canvass? I’d like to have my work done on 24”x36” and up.

If you create a picture for example on a 11”x 9” dpi 300, and you wanted afterwards to have it put on a canvas, how much larger can you increase to if you wanted to go bigger? Thanks...

I've heard 600 dpi is ideal for 8 x 11 but I don't know if that person who said that knew what he was talking about.  I was wondering if 300 dpi would be fine for that?

It looks like objects begin to degrade when i resize them bigger. I am guessing procreate doesn't have a feature like smart objects in photoshop to prevent this from happening?

i'm designing a stamp card for my school's fair and i forgot to create a special canvas for it(its drawn on the basic "new canvas" setting) how do i make it ok for printing? i dont wanna start over help

I just downloaded procreate - totally new to it - Whatever canvas size I use, I can't get my brush to be big enough. It is barely visible. Keep in mind that I did not edit the brush setting - it is brand new-; however, the maximum brush size is not big enough...help what should I do / check

Thank you this is so helpful! From your wonderful video, I am thinking of getting procreate app for my IPAD pro. Could you tell me if this app would allow me to work with my art image to change canvas size, DPI and changing [image] file names. I have a project that required a 12” x 16” print size with a minimum resolution of 250 pixels/inch which will be use to translate into an images with pixel dimensions of 3000 x 4000 or higher. I use my IPad Pro to take photos of my artwork. I haven’t found anything that would help me with this project on my IPAD. Thanks

quick question: i've noticed in some of your videos that you have a signature that you made, that you just upload onto procreate as a layer/png type of thing? how do you make that?
