Ahhh, one of my favourite little aeroplanes, so small, so practical and such an interesting shape. I remember first seeing them when they were used as ground attack 'planes in Biafra in the late 1960's thank you for showing this !!

This really takes me back! I have flown many hours in the Bo 208 in New Zealand, it is a delightful aircraft to fly. Flying it is more a matter of ''wearing it'' than getting into it.

One modification we had, which might be worth considering, was a loop of armoured cable attached to the canopy frame, which looped under the grab handle and went close around the canopy latch, the idea being that, if the latch fails or is accidentally operated in flight, the canopy does not come off and take the tail with it, the leading edge of the canopy being held down by the cable.

The ones I see do not have such better instruments. Can it be made IFR or it is VFR only plane?
