The "original" designers of the gas station may have sto.... erh.. "found inspiration" elsewhere. Try searching for "Arne Jakobsen" (a famous danish designer) and "gas station". It was built in 1937 and I do think that there is quite some similarities 😁

Hey, guys! A follower here from Bilbao. I didn't realize that station entrance was inspired by the one from my home city while I was living in CZ. Honestly, I didn't even give it a thought lol
Now I see it. Those entrances in Bilbao are so popular they have their own names: "Fosteritos", as in little (Norman) Fosters.

Budweiser was the best story. To make it a little more interesting.

The design of that train entrance can also be found in the Dutch city of Eindhoven, where it leads to an underground bycicle parking. It has two opposing entrances.

Also, the design on the gas stations are also both kind of stolen from the SC Johnson administrative building, designed by Frank Loyd Wright. So I'm kind of surprised there was a lawsuit on that!

4:45 Huh! I thought it was going to be a copy of my home cities, Glasgow, St Enoch subway. Which was built by a Scottish firm in 2015. Never realised we copied the design as well!

Budweiser reminds me of Marmite where in the UK the kiwi Marmite is called NZmite because of the British Marmite and visa versa in new Zealand and the pacific where the British Marmite is called our mate because sanatarium has the rights to Marmite here
