Swami Sarvapriyananda teaches Verses 14-17, from the fourth chapter of the Bhagavad Gita. This series of talks unfolds the highest truths of Vedanta through the study of "The song of God".

🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 4, Verse 14:
🔴Works do not taint me; I desire not their fruits. Whoso knows Me to be such, is not bound by works.

🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 4, Verse 15:
एवं ज्ञात्वा कृतं कर्म पूर्वैरपि मुमुक्षुभि: |
कुरु कर्मैव तस्मात्त्वं पूर्वै: पूर्वतरं कृतम् || 15||
evaṁ jñātvā kṛitaṁ karma pūrvair api mumukṣhubhiḥ
kuru karmaiva tasmāttvaṁ pūrvaiḥ pūrvataraṁ kṛitam
🔴 Knowing thus was done by ancient seekers after liberation. Therefore you too do only work, as was done by the ancients in bygone days.

🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 4, Verse 16:
किं कर्म किमकर्मेति कवयोऽप्यत्र मोहिता: |
तत्ते कर्म प्रवक्ष्यामि यज्ज्ञात्वा मोक्ष्यसेऽशुभात् || 16||
kiṁ karma kim akarmeti kavayo ’pyatra mohitāḥ
tat te karma pravakṣhyāmi yaj jñātvā mokṣhyase ’śhubhāt
🔴What is work? What is non-work? In respect of these questions the sages even are deluded. Therefore, I shall elucidate the nature of work, by knowing which you will be delivered from evil.

🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 4, Verse 17:
कर्मणो ह्यपि बोद्धव्यं बोद्धव्यं च विकर्मण: |
अकर्मणश्च बोद्धव्यं गहना कर्मणो गति: || 17||
karmaṇo hyapi boddhavyaṁ boddhavyaṁ cha vikarmaṇaḥ
akarmaṇaśh cha boddhavyaṁ gahanā karmaṇo gatiḥ
🔴Indeed you ought to know about work; also you ought to know about bad work; and, besides you ought to know about non-work. Profound is the course of work.

For the desire of God realisation, i would want to understand it is as not moh (self serving) for liberation, but prem (self sacrifice) for liberation. On we go! Hari om tat sat

Fulfilling desire within the limit of ethics, is that not seeking desire still?
What I understand about this verse is to have a single desire of God in all actions only then, i can be free or else I will be in pain if the desire is not fulfilled.

23:01 from a mosquito to a star system all have limited existence and located in a particular space, but the Lord is existence itself, which means the Lord is unlimited never begins never ends unlocated

After listening religious /spiritual talks I feel that greatest discovery of humans were language (speak his mind) and three gunas (satwa, rajas and tamas)

19:05 always we want a result... study and degree, karma phala. We do work because we are thirsty for the results of karma. We want those results because we feel scared or unfulfilled.

1:02:00 to 1:04:00 what is so mysterious about work? The great verse. Sankara introduces it in his commentary. What is action? Prescribed and prohibited: ethics. In nonaction also something is to be understood. Action means LIFE.
