Wow, I’m from South African, I love Ethiopian food I used to eat Ethiopian food in South Africa in Ethiopian restaurants Johannesburg

much love from Ethiopia. you got some good dishes but as a first taste of our food, awaze tibs on its own wouldn't be my recommendation, i would advice you to try 1.BEYEAYNETU which is a vegan combo platter of 5-10 different wot(stew or sauce) which like most Ethiopian dishes is served on injera (fermented flat sourdough bread made from teff flour), 2. MAHBERAWI which is a combo like the first one but the wots or stews are made of meat, 3. DORO WOT a chicken stew dish which is our national dish, 4. COFFEE as it was first discovered there, and if you enjoy a likkle bev you could try 5.TEJ which is a traditional honey wine. PLEASE PLEASE try our cuisine again based on my rambling, maybe find a better rated restaurant if you wernt really satisfied here. P.S i just subbed. thanks

Lana, the way you tear the enjera bread looks you have lot of experience, that was perfect! Flor, i was surprised you call the lam spicy. that is one of the list spicy food in Ethiopian cuisine. you should try the vegi combo. nwys thanks for tiring Ethiopian Food,

U both are brave to tray some other countries food. U are geting a great experiance. The brade is called Enjera.It is made of a grain called Tef. Only found in Ethiopia. Ehiopians have been eating Enjera for more than two thosend years. I wish u drink Ethiopian coffee after u eat the spicy ethiopian food. And do u know that coffee is first grown in Ethiopia, in a place called Kefa, found in south west part of ethiopia. Eyhiopia is still one of the big provider of coffee to the world. Almost in every hose, Enjera with a spicy stew(different in kind) and Coffee is served every day. Lov u girls. And thank u. God bless u.From Ethiopia, Addis Ababa.

You guys should try a more different variety like a combination for the best experience because you just had a single preparation out of a host of them. But for a start, I think you indulged yourself fairly. It was creative what the Argentinean did with the Injera rolled up like Burrito while the Ruski was excavating with those nails.🤓

For the Russian girl, just to give you more info...the relationship between Russia and Ethiopia is much more than what the guy explains it...from 1800s Russians were the one who help 🇪🇹 S to fight Against colonialism and giving us trainings and weapons.and the doctors were had also a history by helping us the wounded soliders of Ethiopians too.russians opened RAS DESTA HOSPITAL well known hospital.that's what he was explaining all the doctors were Russian.the hospital was run by RUSSIAN RED CROSS
