Who do you think YOU are, Patti LuPone? I greatly admire and respect this woman’s talent. However, people paid a lot of money to see Stephen Sondheim’s “Company”, not to be subjected to the antics of this woman. Being “Patti LuPone” is not an excuse for this behaviour. What about the respect towards your embarrassed cast members “sitting around you”?
After all of the unfortunate and frightening recent incidents of comedians being physically attacked on stage, it makes me wonder why there isn’t a guarantee on the back of tickets protecting audience members from this kind of appalling abuse and bullying from performers.
