28 Day Yoga Challenge - Day 25: Release Struggle

With an intent of “Release Struggle” I’m asking you to adjust the way you approach the aspects of challenge within this practice. There are a series of 3 pose vignettes each with a strong twist – which you will have the opportunity to up or down level as you choose.
This is a great lesson for all of us, both on and off the mat: if you are struggling change what you are doing! Struggle often feels like the only way we can achieve something, a tool to help move us forward, when in fact struggle is just a barrier that doesn’t serve you – it limits you, so let it go.
Deep twists come with a limitation to your breath and generates a habitual reaction that comes with that. Don’t fight it! Adjust your mind set and breathe slowly, or if you need to adjust your challenge then do that without perceiving yourself as having ‘failed’. You are in conscious control here, get excited about your ability to take charge and learn a new way to behave rather than a new way to struggle.

That was a sweaty one! That’s possibly due to a combination of the practice and the weather! I enjoyed the twisted warrior with a bind (not quite sure if I remembered the name correctly!) and my favourite therapeutic posture is pigeon I think. Thanks again Conrad 👍🏻

The most challenging one so far. I really enjoyed it but I still cannot do the side crow, I tried not to get caught in struggle though :). thanks Conrad
