Switch JoyCon drift became notorious, but the company remained unscathed because the controllers and main unit were seperable. This render beautifully illustrates the types of decisions we could expect from a future Sony handheld device, but even if they chose to develop one I worry that the same drift seen in the Steam Deck and Aya Neo would creep up.

Crazy how the PSP was like a weak PS2 then the Vita like a weak PS3 almost. With the way the switch can get PS4 titles I could imagine a new PSP that can just get over with having PS4 titles it’d benefit Sony since the next 3 years there already making games compatible with PS4

I wish portables would be portable again. My PSP has been through hell and back, still kicking, because they're internally built to take a beating. The Vita was solid as a brick, but the analog sticks were...meh. The DS/3DS were excellent...until they got big. Recently I even fixed up a PSP Go, and it was outrageously well designed inside.

Meanwhile every Switch repair I've ever tried has failed due to something really dumb. Like one out of 50 pins that are entirely out of sight not connecting right, but several fuses blowing on the opposite end just because.

I wish Sony would build tanky handhelds again, not another switch clone.

I like the concept im not a fan of it going all digital
