Welcome back to RBR guys, and this is the big one we’ve been waiting for! The new 6 Cylinder #MercedesAMG #CLE53! Our first glimmer of hope following the awfully boring new C63 4 cylinder, I’m dying to know what this is like as I know you are! And we have some CRAZY rumours to share on the #AMG CLE 63, and whether it will have a V8, so big video today!

So guys, this car has big shoes to fill. It succeeds a long line of ultra desirable C63 Coupes, a tonne of rivals of a similar internal basis, AND it has to deal with the cloud of hatred and abhorrence that follows the awful new C63 4 cylinder everywhere AMG goes. Basically carrying our collective hopes and dreams on its broad wide bodied shoulders. Tough ask for any car, even one as good looking as this one.

So let’s have a look at the CLE 53 both outside and in, then head back out for a full first drive, and really see is this is a top dog AMG only in looks, or can it walk the walk too? Here’s the CLE 53!

Price aside: this is the best entry level AMG they've ever made. I can't think of a modern AMG that looks better, the whole package just works. As for the V8, is it coming? DO you think my prediction is right?!! Let me know. 😈

Once in a while, a car company comes up with a legendary car (engine, design, price, emotional connection), and Merc just did that with the CLE. This car is going to go down as one of the best Mercs ever IMO, especially if the CLE 63 is a V8.

I think mercedes finally understood that no one will buy the 4cyl. hybrid (especially in the cle63) and switched it to the V8 before the car was released 😂

3.8 seconds in a car as heavy as this is brilliant! maturing is realizing that you don't need the fastest 0-60 car as you're not racing 24/7. i want COMBINED luxury, style, performance, and comfort and this car does it better than any M car

The flared rear arches make the car look so aggressive. Why don't Saloon AMGs also implement this? AMG Saloons from the front look so aggressive but the rears are no different from a non-amg.

It’s telling that you really were comparing it to your favorite V8 versions of the AMG cars, a lot of ‘it’s not quite as good but it’s close’ kind of energy. I bought one on Saturday at first look, it is exactly the kind of car I’ve wanted for years. No need for any more power, it’s already well above my safe level. The one they had was fully loaded and surprisingly discounted from the sticker price. I really like driving it and it ticks a lot of boxes. Great review, glad my ‘post purchase’ actually looking at reviews didn’t turn up big problems lol.

Den es ist schwer eine Probefahrt zu organisieren und man will auch nicht die Katze im Sack kaufen😂
Das einzige was mich an diesem Auto stört ist das Langweilige schräge Heck.
Den Rest liebe ich🤩 und evtl. gönne ich es mir auch.🙃

The G82 M4 do have wider rear arches than the regular 4-series.
