Man I used to hear this song when I was a bit younger (7-9yo) when the instrumental part got more intense I would always start dancing to it, I never got to know the lyrics before, my focus was to only enjoy it

This song makes me cry for multiple reasons…I used to listen to it all the time when I was little not thinking anything of it…I have trust issues from…well friends…me, and 3 other people were besties in kindergarten, we were true best friends, third grade the one boy didn’t talk to us as much but we were all still friends, also in second grade a friend group was made of 6 people including me, they made me so happy every day, that was til the end of fourth…the pandemic hit in 5th and we were still friends, not to mention a few of the, used to hang out together behind me and my other friend’s back…the excuse was “we don’t know your parents well” they said that every time. One time in FaceTime chat in our group one of the besties from kindergarten said “friends, friends, friends” then we were told to say a number, I said “3 I guess” and they sent the video, I got the lowest score of “friendship” after that I left the group cause I felt left out, ignored, and not as good..6th back in school and only one talked to me sometimes, now I’m going to 7th…and I want to cry more..our school was just elementary then we moved to a k-8 school, the school I used to go to randomly added k-8 so my school could suffer and close…I’m happy at the school I’m at now…they are all going back there…I’ll not see them til probably high school…I could imagine myself seeing them in high school and running up to all of them and literally holding back tears and hugging them…I grew up with those people…I miss them even if we weren’t always friends…thank you for reading…sorry for grammar issues…and if you know who I am please, try and maybe become friends with me again…I’m lonely…and may or may not be crying… -Bri(shortened name aka my nickname)
