Big Wall Morning on El Capitan

Last night I decided this was going on my bucket list. This morning I rolled over and fell out of my bed.

It amazes me how must trust they have in there gear.

We just left El Capitan watching some climbers! That was the coolest part of the day at Yosimite!! I could never but it was really cool to watch lol

I don’t understand how only 30 deaths have been recorded here since 1905.

Not being a climber I’m guessing that even when in the tent your still physically tied off to the wall just in case everything goes south, or might I down?

I'm a boulderer. I hate ladders, even when setting. I trust autobelays only for the 2 minutes that I am required to do so. Forget un-fixed gear.
I would be raining sweat and piss through the bottom of a portaledge, eyes nailed open for the slightest shift in weight to either side.
I don't trust equipment, I trust my 1-4 points of contact, and the possibility of breaking something that ends my only joy in life.
