I am a artist And quilter.
I am always watching youtube videos.
I love learning, I watch some artist holding the pencils so incorrectly and I just want to correct them it's kinda painful to watch.

It seems like they were never taught how to hold their pencil correctly.

When I went to school back in the early 60's in Brooklyn we were taught penninship I went to Catholic School the Nuns were very strict,
I remember having to practicing writing the alphabet in between the 3 lines.

Today our children are not being taught how to do cursive writing. I wouldn't how will they be able to write a check or sign their names? But I think your making a great video

Oh my! Searched for this so I can teach my 3 yo daughter. But I discovered I was holding the pen wrong the whole time, that's why my fingers hurt so fast. I'm 32 years old btw. :p

It's also good to learn so you can be taken seriously as an adult. I can't tell you how many adults I see on YouTube videos who hold their pens like a 3 year old.
