It was irresponsible for the DNR to turn 150 timber rattlers loose in Brown County without asking the public nor telling the public that they were going to do it, they released a bunch of copperheads as well, now you have to be very cautious at campgrounds and hiking trails.

In LaPorte county: I feel like I used to see snakes at least a couple times a year on the property maybe 5 years ago. Haven't seen one in forever.

I grew in Floyd County, and I saw cottonmouths there as a kid in the 1970s. Maybe no more.
