The last of the three standard timers is the Pulse Timer.

Check out how it works and watch a simulation of how you can use it in your own PLC programs.

The Pulse Timer is used to generate pulses of a specific length, which means that you can use it to prolong or shorten signals. A very neat function to have in mind.

In this video I will make use of the TP in CodeSys to generate pulses. I'm using ladder logic but you can use it in function block diagram and structured text too.
