These stand alone ECU's are proper game changers. Up to five switchable maps, anti-lag you can turn on or off, boost by gear, better traction/stability control. Well worth the money imo. Most standard cars out the factory, when you go through the different driving modes it's only making very small adjustments. You can't leave a car like a Mk2 Focus ST standard, they were made to be modded. Not keen on the dustbin lids though.

A buddy of mine had an RS that looked like this, he did a ton to that car, fastest vehicle I’ve ever been in I couldn’t get to top speed when I was driving but he did, 172/173 on the way to the cinema. I would have asked him to slow down but we were late for the start of man of steel when it came out. Bush you were a mad lad

I love mine with just 300bhp. The mapper asked if I wanted the pop bang map, mapped in. Almost punched him 😂. It naturally pops and bangs anyway. I love the fact he is keeping it an ST. So many people start messing with an ST and start making them look like the RS. Well played.

80s and early 90s Anti-Lag was for Rally cars and those with deep, deep pockets. Modern ECUs etc and the features they come packed with are amazing, what an animal of a car! Certainly embarrass a lot of 100k+ supercars!👍🏼

You got to love a fast ford, Iv had a few mk2 rs and st’s and TTRS so a big 5 cylinder fanboy but never had the opportunity to have them running big power . But the sound there make is to die for.

Those 5 cylinders are as close most will get to the old skool Audi engines. Even the D5 Volvos give a bit of that noise too, shame Ford didnt keep them. Cracking car though Joes got the look spot on and those Bolas really finish it off

regret getting rid of mine but i got 1 when they was new and not much gains now they are developed more from the tuneing side i keep looking at them now love to do a 4x4 build

A had an focus st m8 until a ended up doing summer salts in it 🙈..it was some machine..you said you were looking to maybe buy one adam..a highly recommend getting one..there absolutely brilliant cars..my mate had one with near 500hp..what a car that was..an other great video bud 👌
