That’s gorgeous! How close are we to 3d printing full size experimental category planes and using servos and rc autopilots? It seems like once the kinks were worked out it could increase safety and fun. Avoid accidental stall/spins near the airport/ground, disable safeties for acrobatics :)

Watch Rene Rosentraeger. He sands the LW-PLA, then apply apoxy, cure overnight, sand the next day and then Acrylic filler paint, then bake at 30 degrees C for couple of minutes. He makes big models. A small model will only require a single layer of apoxy, cured overnight. Strong as you'll ever need. And you can paint it as well. Will be trying that real soon.

Im working on a 1.7th scale F-84F Thunderstreak with 120mm EDF. I designed it in CAD and 3d printing the parts. Just a little concerned about strength..but yours seems to be fine.

Love the inverted V tail. I've built four or five RC models with that tail design, also I started an experimental full size. I built molds for the fuselage and I have one on the gear hopefully I'll be able to finish it the next couple of years
