Guys if you ever replay or rewatch the tutorial stages, you will notice that when Marian reloads her eyes flashes red, foreshadowing what is about to come 😢. Pretty cool detail by the devs.

We better get Marian Back in an event later in the story. They literally gave us a top tier Nikke waifu that everyone fell in love with and took it away😢

I still have this track playing in the commanders room… this piece never left me it’s just so soothing and peaceful. Such a sad moment just a few moments in to the story. Made me cry Corruption was such a sad chapter in the game…

I have to say ... You really did an excellent job on the overall soundtrack of Nikke. This one track really captured the weight and sadness of that moment in the game!

This is the first game where I shed tears during a game's tutorial.

Me when I suffered with my pulls when her banner came out, then the moment I hit gold, saw Pilgrim and got her, the prologue flashbacks hit me like a bullet train and manly tears were shed.

On a Saturday morning, an Ark commander was found dead in his own room after a Nikke came back from a mission to talk with their commander. Said Nikke reported that he allegedly shot himself in the head with a pistol that was used to execute a corrupted Nikke know as Marian whom they met in a mission that had gone sour.

Forensics say there were no foul play involved. The Nikke further told us that Marian was his first love and he had no choice but to execute her or else she will become an Irregular. After the incident, all he could think about is the Nikke he executed. Due to the incident his mental health seemed to have gone worse and worse until finally decided to use the gun that killed Marian.


Even in a war for survival against Raptures, there is still a commander out there falling in love with a Nikke. Is it true love? Will the Central Government finally admit their crimes against humanity for putting human brains on metallic husks with weapons that we now are called Nikkes? When will the Nikke gain their freedom and live amongst humanity on equal footing? Only time will tell.

A man is sitting on a sofa, helplessly contemplating the object that at some point in his life I help him against the monsters that wanted to put out his existence, Fully trusting that if he had her at his disposal he could fight for what was his by right since he was born, it was not until he was used against his will to give peace of mind.
It was not until that moment that I observe with great impotence how granting him peace was his only option, being supported by the same Nikke who at some point were his savior...

When contemplating it you can only think unable to think about what would have happened if it did this, or if it did something else... You remove the magazine and observe that it had not been reloaded since that moment...

I cried so much during Marian's death . The animation and this soundtrack really made me cry . And I still cry while listening to this . This game is so freaking cool...

I get goosebumps everytime I watch the cutscene. Very sad and heartbreaking.
