@TheForsaekn Of Mice & Men is one of my favorite bands! I have to lag when playing HD content. This programs works great. It depends on how your network is set up, though. Usually lagging isn't a fault of the program, but of your connection.

@ollysharp123 It could be many things. My guess is the speed f your router. Do you have a lot of devices connected to it?

HD works perfect, and simultaneously while I'm using the internet!

Yazsoft Playback is the most user friendly media server. Brilliant for aac, mp3 and mp4 files. Note that iTunes movies or TV shows (m4v files) will not stream due to Data Rights Management or DRM. You'll need a DRM compatible converter in order to convert m4v into an mp4. But i've noticed it does have it's limitations when streaming 1080p (HD) movies (maybe this is just my wifi strength?) as it will lag or stutter throughout the movie which is really annoying. I'm just about to try 780p next.

@amenoz Your connection type shouldn't matter. Maybe it isn't a great day for your internet, or maybe your computer is having trouble transcoding a 1080p video file. I can play 1080p content perfectly, and my PS3 is on Wi-Fi.

It seems like my upload speed can't keep up with 720p streaming. :/
Upload speed was at 200 kb/s for about 4 seconds... now its 5.5kb/s.

@ahimsalove You can try a program called PS3MediaServer. It's a Java based client. In my opinion it's a pretty buggy program, although I haven't used it in a year or so. I believe this program supports streaming of mkv files.

i get a pop up on my ps3 saying"access to the media server is not allowed. It is possible that the system for this ps3 system, Ps3 (three digits number) has not been registered. Check the settings for the media server" WTH!!! what can i do to fix it

I keep getting "the data is corrupted' or 'no files" when I play TV Shows on iTunes.
Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks
